FLYTIME PD BARRA SPECIAL

Proving highly effective while scoping for Barramundi this bucktail fly was shown to me by Mackay guide Paul Dolan. Perhaps it was a timing thing, but I found myself blown away with how aggressively the Barra responded to this fly. So much so it felt like there was little choice but to tie some for others to enjoy.

Of course, the fish always tell what retrieve they want most. We found a smooth, relatively fast, consistent retrieve got the eats. You may find different. At times a rod under arm double hand retrieve may reign supreme, not so much for speed but consistent fly movement. Enjoy this great fly as due to fading sight and fumble fingers these flies are probably a limited edition.
